The chime top and knocker are made from poly lumber, a durable, environmentally friendly material made from recycled milk jugs. Poly lumber resists weather and does not crack or chip but still gives the same clear tones of wood knockers. The wind sail is made from aluminum to match the chimes. Powder coated aluminum for long-lasting colors. Powder coating bakes the color onto the aluminum, making it durable and resistant to weather. The powder coating creates rich colors and it's UV resistant so the colors won't fade in the sunlight. Enjoy hours of relaxing, wind-inspired tones with this Wind Chime. Chimes have one knocker for a clean, melodious sound. Large chimes over 75" have an additional knocker to create an orchestral music melody. Finish choice ONLY available on bottom part. Hunt board top stain will vary depending on the finish that is already on the old wood planks.
The old wood may have existing screws and screw holes, paint in grain and/or pine knots. These add to the rustic, farm look of the hunt board. Screw hole can be plugged (filled) if customer wishes.
This piece is made from old pine wood planks, to create a rustic, unique look. The planks running longways are glued together. The breadboard ends are screwed to allow for expansion and contraction of wood due to humidity. This is a very, very well made hunt board and is very durable!
The hunt board top is finished with a stain to match the old wood finish and 10 coats of poly-finish are applied for years of regular dining use. The bottom part of the hunt board skirt can be finished in numerous paint choices. Paint samples are available for you to see before making your decision.
