Sixteen different finishes are available for this Colonial Arrow-Back Chair. All dining room chairs are steam bent and feature a molded seat and tilt back. The trend of “square backs” shifted to a wider top piece – hence the “slat back.” The slat on this “slat back” is mortised into the post, with arrows between the seat and the slat. It was an innovation from before 1820.

This heirloom quality hutch is a fitting piece of display cabinetwork to accent your special pieces of china and family treasures. The hutch comes standard with a glass shelf and light. The glass shelf has plate grooves and is adjustable. It has four cabinet doors on the top, each with a solid wood door knob for a classic accent and ease of pulling (other choices in hardware are available). Each door also has four glass panes for easy viewing of the contents. The hutch top is open with no vertical wall inside the doors. The base of the hutch has four drawers and four doors at the bottom, all adorned with hardware. The buffet bottom is open with no vertical wall inside the doors. The bottom doors have raised panels. The standard back of the top of the hutch is beautiful tongue and groove solid wood. The back of the bottom of the hutch is plywood. Amish 57" Full Three Door Hutch East Earl Collection This beautiful hutch is handcrafted of solid wood. It has three full cabinet doors on the top, each with a handsome Antique English Door Pull for a classic accent and ease of pulling. Each door also has eight glass panes for easy viewing of the contents. This hutch has hidden hinges and full extension drawer slides. In addition, glass shelves with wood trim, touch lighting and mirror backs are available. The base of the hutch has two drawers, with one large drawer on the left side of a smaller drawer. The drawers are French Dovetailed. In this unique dovetail system, the dovetail slides inside the drawer sides to create a very strong bond that will hold through generations of use. Because of the way the dovetail slides into the drawer joints, they cannot be seen on the side of the drawer, but from the top or bottom when the drawer is pulled out. There are three doors at the bottom, all adorned with Antique English hardware. The bottom doors have a decorative engraved inset. The standard back of the top of the hutch is beautiful tongue and groove solid wood. The back of the bottom of the hutch is a solid plywood--the best choice to reduce warping or buckling. The wood is beautifully finished for a magnificent dining room appeal. The hutch top is delivered with blocks (that are stained with the hutch) on the bottom of each side to protect it during shipping. Take slight pressure to them with a screwdriver to pop them off before setting the hutch top on the buffet.
